INTRODUCTION

The Story

When the ClickandTwist project started in 2015, the founding team wanted to create the first eco- friendly, single-dose reusable cup that allows the consumption of spritz, beer sparkling wine and cocktails everywhere without compromising on the flavour and quality.

The Mission

ClickAndTwist reinvents the “Ready to Drink” with an innovative reusable single-dose cup with an airtight seal for the consumption of carbonated products, designed with versatility, the environment and safety in mind.

THE PROBLEM

There is no technological single-dose reusable solution on the market for sparkling and carbonated products.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

The main competitors of CLICKandTWIST belong to three macro-categories: single-dose and disposable cups, cans and glass bottles.

Single-dose cups

The disposable and single-dose cups on the market are unsuitable for sparkling products and often not reusable increasing waste pollution. We found that some are made of cheap plastics that can release bisphenol if not stored properly.

Cans

Cans are recyclable, albeit with significant energy cost, but not reusable. Due to safety regulations, Cans are often unsuitable for events (e.g. sports events) and festivals.

Glass bottles

Glass is recyclable, albeit with significant energy costs, and reusable, but it is not suitable for use in all occasions where its intrinsic fragility is a cause of danger. Weight and fragility increase transport costs.
